The international Croissant Day was held in yesterday to celebrate the famous crescent moon treat and its invention. Although croissant was created in Ottoman Empire, Turkey – it embraced the name “croissant” by Marie Antoinette who also brought this delicious pastry to French for the first time. It later spread out worldwide and people started to celebrate the existence of this famous treat, which is on 30th of January.

Croissant Day taking step pose

In order to celebrate the Croissant Day – I styled myself in a camel trench coat to resemble that crust of the pastry, and paired it with a casual look including jeans and a black sheer top with the special details like gold dots.

For adding a little bit of twist and elegance, I decided to go with an autumn look by wearing these classical black suede boots to elongate my legs. The fringed bag that I’m wearing has complemented my whole outfit, especially the boots and the top in the same color.

With such a casual look, I spent my Saturday walking at Sharona center (Tel Aviv) – which is a calm and stylish place full of cafes and restaurants, just like in Paris or Milan. I was able to feel nice vibes for the weekend, while sitting with my comfortable, yet, chic outfit and have a bite of one of my favorite treats – croissant and drinking cappuccino :-)  Sometimes, I just love to observe what is happening around me, so I look at my surroundings and realize that everyone looked so calm, and enjoying a beautiful day to the maximum with no worries.
